Maison de Jean Prouvé, 1954

“To top it all, I had to build my house, mostly with material recycled from workshop rejects.”
Jean Prouvé, excerpt from handwritten notes, 1983
It’s a “green” house in which Prouvé used industrialized components to arrive at a highly personal and poetic result. Prouvé’s house expresses concerns with our contemporary era, similar to the houses of the Australian architect Glenn Murcutt.
